2021 Peter Hampel’s Luau

When the Hampel family decided to turn an annual 4th of July celebration into a small fundraiser, they never imagined it would evolve into the event it is today! Over the past 10 years, Peter Hampel and his family have hosted Peter Hampel’s Luau, an event benefitting Rainbows United. With the support of generous donors, partners, volunteers and attendees, the Luau has raised over $330,000 to provide vital funds for Rainbows’ programs and services.

Rainbows United is a local organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of children with special needs, ages birth to 21, and their families by bringing together community resources and providing customized services. Rainbows has provided therapy and education for children in our family and for children of Hampel Oil employees. Rainbows’ services are instrumental for early intervention and continued development in children with varied abilities.

It is truly amazing how many families in our community have been touched by Rainbows and depend on their services, which is why Hampel Oil is committed to helping Rainbows continue their efforts.
